As a parent, choosing the right educational environment for both my two children was a top priority, and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to enroll them over the past several years to Mint (formerly the Etobicoke Montessori School). From the moment we first dropped our kids off, we felt the dedication of the staff and teachers.
The Montessori approach has set a strong foundation for both my children's education. The emphasis on independence, creativity, practical life learning, and a hands-on approach has allowed both my children to truly thrive. I’ve watched them develop a genuine love for learning, exploring with curiosity and enthusiasm. The mixed-age classrooms also bring a wonderful aspect, as my children have benefited from both mentoring younger students and learning from older peers.

As parents, finding the right school for our child was one of the most important decisions we've had to make, and we feel incredibly grateful to have found Mint (formerly Etobicoke Montessori School). We cannot thank the incredible toddler teachers enough for the amazing love and care they've given to our girl, Jouri.
As soon as I pull into the parking lot, my daughter yells "school" then runs to the door with the biggest smile on her face! It is her favourite place, and talks about her teachers and classmates everyday!
This brings us so much ease, as parents it's tough putting your toddler in child care for the first time. From one mom to another, Mint is truly the place where both your child will thrive and you will feel completely happy and at peace.
The teachers put so much care into the kids, providing each one a nurturing and educational environment. After one year with them my daughter knows the alphabet, how to count in three languages, knows how to clean up after herself, eat alone, wait her turn, and most importantly knows how to show love. This speaks volumes on the environment and care they provide!
These teachers are truly incredible!!! A special thank you to Ms. Carducci, Ms. Sorbara, Ms. Primi, and Ms. Torkos. Nothing compares to the care and compassion I've seen them give Jouri, and the love Jouri has for them. We are so grateful that they are a part of our village!

Mint (formerly Etobicoke Montessori School) has been a wonderful place for my kids, where the teachers truly went above and beyond. They were incredibly caring and supportive, treating my children as if they were their own. Through their gentle guidance, my kids learned important values like independence and respect for others. My children started at Mint (formerly Etobicoke Montessori School) at 2 years old and 18 months old. It is an excellent school that is second to none. The teachers are fantastic and genuinely care for the kids. They teach the children basic life skills and encourage them to be independent while also preparing them academically, setting them up for success in kindergarten and grade school.

We have had the honour of being a part of the Mint (formerly Etobicoke Montessori School) community for two years. The teachers are all very experienced, dedicated, kind and encouraging. They have instilled our daughter with a love of learning by nurturing her interests and encouraging her to explore new activities. Our daughter has been with Mint, formerly Etobicoke Montessori School, for almost a year, and our son starts in a couple months. We couldn't be more thrilled to be part of the Mint community. Not only are we so pleased with the structured weekly learning curriculum and the authentic Montessori education, the entire staff is incredibly nurturing, loving and supportive. Our daughter is truly happy to go to school each day, and it has already inspired her to achieve her very best. Mint, formerly Etobicoke Montessori School, has helped start both my girls on their learning journey. As a parent, finding a pre-school you can trust to take care of and nurture your children is never an easy task, so I was happy to find such a lovely community. Both my daughters started in the toddler class at just 18 months old and all their teachers were incredible to say the least. Unlike other pre-schools, Mint has had little turnaround from the staff and the consistency of educators was a comfort to my children. My eldest daughter, now in Grade 1, still gets excited when we go to pick up her little sister from Mint as she is happy to catch up with her past teachers and younger classmates. The program is what you would expect from a Montessori level and my kids are proud to show off their schoolwork and talk about their day on the drive home. They take pride in new skills learned and often surprise me with how much they have accomplished at such an early age. In addition, the classroom is kept clean with many activities for the children to explore safely. The food and snacks provided are healthy and nurturing. For those that have children with anaphylactic allergies I can say from experience that the teachers take the utmost attention to ensure your child will be safe, as my own daughter had an allergy, and we have had no issues.
